Shipping Policy
Artwork can be shipped or local pick up. Local pickup is by appointment only, located in Cheltenham, Victoria.
Shipping insurance is an optional extra, and is calculated at 4% of the value of the item.
All original artworks have different shipping charges associated with their size, weight and delivery destination.
A quote will be provided within two business days of your purchase and uses reputable art shipping carriers. Once your item has been dispatched, you will be notified via email with tracking information.
Please be mindful that it is the buyer’s responsibility to track shipping and failure to collect your artwork may result in it being returned. Any subsequent re-shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.
All parcels delivered will require a signature on delivery. If you request that your parcel be left unattended, you acknowledge that Kristy Hussey (and her representatives) will not be held liable in any way for any loss or damage to the delivered goods.
The buyer is responsible for checking that the artwork has not been damaged in transit within 24 hours of opening the parcel, and reporting any faults in writing and with photographs. The buyer will be responsible for paying any shipping costs for returning an item. Please liaise with Kristy Hussey in writing and with photographs to kristy.hussey@gmail.com. A reliable artwork shipping provider will be recommended.
Refund Policy
Choosing art can be very personal. Choose carefully and please be sure your decision is final when making your purchase. Returns or exchanges of original artworks are not accepted.
Damaged Goods Return Policy
It is the responsibility of the buyer to inspect the goods within 24 hours of delivery and notify in writing, with photographs, to kristy.hussey@gmail.com immediately.
If an artwork is damaged in transit, a credit note will be offered. No cash refunds on any artwork purchased.
If you purchased the optional insurance cover, we will assist with claiming the damage.
Returns
Returns will note be accepted without prior notification and approval. As outlined under ‘Damaged Goods Return Policy’, returns must be requested within 24 hours of receiving the parcel. All returns must then be returned to us within 5 working days of receipt of your order.
Commissioned Artworks and Cancellations
Upon accepting a commission, an artist/client Artwork Commission Agreement will be prepared. Signoff on the creative brief and Terms & Conditions along with a non-refundable 50% deposit is required to commence a privately commissioned artwork.
